The single divan bed looked a bit battered, like it had seen better days, and the thin mattresses left something to be desired for comfort. The cracked lampshades held what appeared to be black mould, which isn't exactly a highlight. You could also hear every word from the neighbors—walls were thin, making it tough to enjoy any peace and quiet when others were in their rooms. As someone with asthma, it was a problem to smell smoke drifting in from next door. I guess I should've tempered my expectations considering the price.
